[Trending Now] Indian Reporter Bravely Reads The Heartbreaking News About Her Own Husband’s Death In A Car Crash On Live TV

A news presenter in India awed netizens and home viewers after remaining composure after doing what was surely one of the most heartbreaking, if not odd, moments of her life. 

Supreet Kaur was able to bravely deliver the news report on the accident which involved her husband. The moment she knew the details of the breaking news, she realized that her husband is one of the accident's casualties. 

The report was made in IBC-24, a news channel in Chhattisgarh state last Saturday, April 8. The news report is about a car crash which killed 3 of the 5 people in an SUV. Although the names of the victims were not revealed, Kaur knew that her husband is among them as she knew that her husband are travelling on the same route at the same time.

In an interview between the news channel’s chief Anshuman Sharma and Agence France-Press or AFP where this report originally came from, Sharma said that Kaur knew that her husband was dead but she managed to keep her composure and just go on with her job. Only when she finished reading the news did she went at the back of the studio to confirm the name of the victims.

“When the reporter said all the victims were from Bhilai and were traveling in a Renault Duster, she immediately had a hunch her husband had died in the crash,” Sharma said.

The news company expressed their salute to Kaur who was married two years ago.

“She is an extremely brave woman. She has been with us for the last 9 years. We are really proud of her,” the news channel’s chief said.
