Locals and even tourists from all over the world are going crazy over this new attraction that can be found in a museum in Antique!
The museum is called Museo De Tibiao which showcases the biggest pearls in the world! It is located at Tibiao, Antique which can be found beside UCCP Church and the Tibiao Bakery. These pearls are known as "Pearls of Tibiao". The museum features the pearls which were found in the deep seas bordering the province.
One of these pearls, which was removed from its shell, weighs 13.75 kilos!

But the second one, is even much bigger weighing 24. 75 kilos.
According to the National Museum of the Philippines, these pearls are approximately at $100 million each and are now declared as the “important cultural property” (ICP) of the country.
The museum collects P50 entrance fee for students and P150 for adults. The local government hopes to somehow debunk the image of their province, which is known for urban legends centering on 'Aswang' mythology.

Below are the guidelines of the museum.
1)All guests are required to sign in the visitor’s logbook and present a valid ID before viewing the exhibit.
2)Group tours shall be booked beforehand. Only groups reserved thru the museum shall be entertained. Group tours are allowed even on weekends.
3)Only 20 guests shall be accommodated in intervals of 30 minutes.
4)Buses should park at a designated area.
5)The head of the group/coordinator shall first pay the entrance fees and fill up the visitor’s logbook before the group is allowed to begin the tour.
6)Bags, firearms, food, bottled water, pens and hand-carried items are not allowed inside the museum. Only cameras and mobile phones can be used inside.
7)Smoking is prohibited in the museum premises.
8)Picture taking is allowed for souvenir purposes only. Taking photos of exhibit items for commercial purposes are strictly prohibited. The use of flash photography is strictly prohibited.
