Landon Ryan Rice from Norman, Oklahoma thought that his Christmas would be like the other kids – unwrapping presents on their carpet floor while mom and dad are filming their reactions using their smartphones. What he got was something rectangular wrapped in blue and white diagonal striped paper.
Before this Christmas, Landon was having his holidays at an adoption agency. His adoptive parents Janelle and Daniel Rice adopted him this year.
To formally welcome him to the Rice family, they gave him the certificate that legally approves Landon that he is part of the family.
When he was asked to read it out loud, he couldn’t resist crying and hugged his new father for the wonderful present.
