[Trending Now] Duterte: "Mr. Obama You Can Go To Hell, EU You Can Choose Purgatory!"

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has once again made headlines after his controversial remark against the US President and the European Union (EU) during his speech at the Sulong Pilipinas Governance Series.

"Mr. Obama, you can go to hell," he said against the US President.

"EU, you can choose purgatory," added Duterte.

The feisty talking President has recently been the center of criticism among the international media due to his incessant rants over his critics for the rising number of deaths brought by his drug war.

In the same speech, he justified his earlier statements with regards to the possible ending of the joint military exercises with the United States. He earlier stated that the scheduled exercises would be the last under his term.

"Wag mo ako paluhurin sa Amerika. Never."
