[Trending Now] This Woman Was Just Mowing Her Lawn When These Strange Marks Appeared And Made Her Life Hell!

The last thing this woman remembered before she suffered from this bizarre skin condition was the she was mowing her lawn in Oklahoma about a decade ago when something bit her ankle. The next thing she knew, a dark itchy spot appeared in her arm! Then it started appearing to all parts of her body. 

Calvina decided to consult dermatologists and underwent different tests including biopsy. At first she was diagnosed with issues with her nerves. Other doctors would tell her that she had a severe allergy. But in many years, no medications made her condition better. In fact, it only worsened and she had to endure “itch attacks” that made her bleed. Having no one to help her in her condition, she suffered 7 years not knowing what was happening in her body. It greatly affected her social life and her career. 

"If I’m wearing short sleeves … and nobody knows me, they would give this face, like ‘Oh my God, what is that? Don't touch her.”she shared.

This was until she tried her luck in communicating with “The Doctors” and shared her story. She got noticed and went to a series of tests once again. According to Dr. Batra, Calvina suffered from urticarial vasculitis and hypothyroidism. 

Urticarial vasculitis is a rare condition and an autoimmune disorder. This is what the other doctors failed to look into—the immune system. It is the swelling of small blood vessels thus the marks. Although its causes are yet to be discovered, it is commonly associated with systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and Sjögren’s syndrome.

On the other hand, hypothyroidism is a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid  hormones which are essential to the body. 

“I didn’t think that you guys would hear me. But you guys heard me.”she said referring on how “The Doctors” have helped her find cure in her sufferings.
