Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie files divorce from Brad Pitt on Tuesday, September 20 according to US Entertainment Website, TMZ.

The shocking news about the end of “Brangelina” gone viral moments after Jolie’s lawyer, Robert Offer, confirmed her legal request of “dissolution of marriage” on Monday. The reason behind her unexpected decision is Pitt’s way of interacting with their children. In addition, Offer also said that Jolie decide for the benefit of their family’s health. In line with this, Offer denied allegations of an involvement of any “third person”. He emphasized that Jolie filed for divorce solely because of Pitt’s parenting issues.

"We're told there was no alleged 'third person. Her decision to file was solely over Brad's interaction with their children." according to an article released by TMZ.

Moreover, Jolie who has been with Brad Pitt since 2004 but only got married in August 2014, asked for privacy and said that she will not be commenting regarding the issue until everything has been settled.

"She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time," Offer added.

In addition, Offer also said that Jolie cited “irreconcilable differences” in their divorce paper which is dated September 15 as the day of their separation. Jolie also filed legal papers for the physical custody of their children but asked the court to grant Pitt his visitation rights.

The couple have six children which are-Maddox, Pax, Zahara who are all adopted and biological children Shiloh and twins Knox and Viviene. Their children are also the ring bearers of their private wedding which took place in the French hamlet of Correns in Provence in 2014. They also helped Jolie illustrate her wedding gown.

Prior to Jolie’s request of ending marriage with Brad Pitt, reports have been published that the famous couple are having their marriage issues. In an interview, Jolie expressed that her marriage with Brad Pitt has been experiencing difficulties and trials which both of them are trying to resolve.

"Brad and I have our issues. We have fights and problems like any other couple. We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space, but the problems in the movie aren't our specific problems." Jolie told the Telegraph.

Meanwhile, the love team of the couple gained fame when they both starred in the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” which was released in 2005.
