[Trending Now] 62 Chief of Police In Western Visayas Were Dismissed For Not Reaching Quota

62 Chief of Police was dismissed from their position at Western Visayas for not reaching their qouta of 3 anti-drug operations per town for the months of July to August as reported by Mr. Raffy Tulfo at TV 5.

There are 22 Chiefs dismissed in Iloilo, 14 in Aklan, 13 in Antique, 10 in Capiz and 3 in Guimaras. Termination from positions was due to low performance rating of their cities with regards to the anti-illegal drugs operation.

According to PSSupt. Gilbert Gorero, Police Regional 6 spokesperson in a live phone interview with Tulfo, he said that those dismissed officials were having low performances from the past 8 weeks of operation as observed by the overside committee of PRO 6.

PSSupt. Gorero also said that they assure the proper implementation of the due process of law as stated under article 3 of the constitution to protect the rights of the civilian against plantation of evidences or extrajudicial killings that can possibly occur just to reach the quarterly qouta of the police.
