Sasha Obama, daughter of US President Barack Obama, is currently a service crew at a local restaurant.
The 15-year-old threw the comforts of White House and applied for a summer job at Nancy’s in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, like most American teenagers.
The move was unexpected that even the crew didn’t recognize her.
“We were wondering why there were six people helping this girl, but then we found out who it was,” a fellow employee told Boston Herald.
The First Daughter’s shift starts early in the morning and ends at 11:30 am. She handles the takeout counter and waits on tables.
Her mother First Lady Michelle Obama has been vocal about raising Sasha and her sister Malia as “normally as possible.”
Her sister was a production assistant in Halle Berry’s television series “Extant.” While the job title sounds incredible, Malia was mostly running errands and serving coffee for the cast and crew.
