[Todays Viral] Truth Revealed: Singer Avril Lavigne's death and doppleganger!

The fans and supporters of Avril Lavigne got frustrated when they heard the theory claiming that the punk rock princess was replaced by a doppelgänger who was identified as “Melissa Vandella” after she allegedly killed herself in 2003.

The theory was even discussed by famous publications like Vice and Gawker. This led to more fans questioning whether or not she is still alive.

A website named AvrilEstaMorta.blogspot.com (meaning “Avril is dead” in English), compared many photos of the singer to “prove” that the real Avril Lavigne was replaced by a fake one. It shows the changes in her birthmarks, moles and even pimples. 

The site also added that the singer has shrunk since 2002 from 1.58m to 1.55m and now has a different nose shape. It analyses her handwriting as well and even her voice.

The song titles and lyrics were also tackled like "My Happy Ending” and “Nobody’s Home” as evidence that Avril allegedly committed suicide years ago after being pressured for fame and led to depression.

Though it sounds real, the writer of the site has said it’s not true. He was just trying to make a point about how people will believe anything they read online. Avril, on the other hand, took to Twitter her insight about this insane idea.
