There are so many things out there that can kill you just be injecting a bit of venom into your body. In fact, there are so many dangerous creatures that just reading this list will probably make you a little paranoid. But before going on, lets review some information. What is venom? Venom is something that those nasty little (or big!) creatures put into your body. Snakes are generally venomous. And what is poison then? Poison is something that, well, you put into your body…usually by eating a poisonous creature or animal. These poisonous (not venomous) creatures cannot inject you with their nastiness but rather they have to wait until you try to eat them or touch them. So now you know! Next time you are bit by a dangerous look snaking and all you friends start yelling “he just got bit by a poisonous snake!” you can correct them before passing out but calmly saying “the snake is venomous, not poisonous”. Disclaimer – you probably won’t have time to explain much more than that and should seek immediate medical attention. Depending on what bit you, things can go downhill pretty fast. These are 25 crazy bits of trivia about venom and poison!
