Hi! My name is Żenia also known as The Lady Moth. I create sculptures, brooches and decorations inspired by nature. They are needle felted and wet felted from wool and other natural fibres, such as silk or bamboo.
Much attention is put into detail. It usually takes several hours or even days to finish one of my carefully crafted pieces.
I am self-thought, that is why I am continuously enjoying the freedom of experimenting and learning. I love to use natural wools in various shades of grey, brown and white, but I also enjoy experimenting with strong colours.
I have started my journey with felting in December 2013. Since then, I keep learning… being enchanted with its magical process and endless possibilities. Since last year I have been teaching both needle and wet felting during my workshops in Cambridge, UK.
