[Trending Now] This Filipina Gets Arrested for Blackmailing a Huge Amount of Money From Her Chatmate!

Roberta Marie Martinez introduced herself as 'Vaughn Ford' to 19-year-old Crystal when they first met on social media. They mainly communicated through chat.

Talking on Facebook Messenger and SMS, the two eventually became romantically involved with each other. Little did Crystal know that she was entering a nightmare.

When Roberta asked Crystal for nude photos, Crystal complied even though she was very uncomfortable doing so. 

Roberta soon used these photos against Crystal and tried to blackmail her for huge amounts of money. At first, she asked for 20 thousand, but it quickly escalated to 40 thousand after Crystal refused to give her what she wanted.

Crystal was afraid that Roberta might release her nudes, ruining her public image. She eventually decided to approach the police and asked for their help.

They enacted a sting operation to catch Roberta. 

Roberta showed up and was promptly arrested by the authorities. She is now facing charges of violating the Anti-Cyber Crime act.
