Christian Lopez is a graduate of BSHRM Major in Cruise Management, a fresh graduate from Jose Rizal University. He instantly became viral after sharing his story on Facebook.

In his post, Lopez narrated all the financial struggles and family problems went through during his college journey. He lost his mother and was forced to stand on his own with the help of only one parent. They went deep into huge debts just to make it through the day with food in their stomachs.

He remembered times when he wasn't able to go to school or take an exam because he's short of money. Sometimes he has none at all.

His father is an Overseas Filipino Worker in Saudi. Despite earning dollars, their family is still suffering from poverty because of their debts. All the money sent by his father either goes to school fees or paying debts.

However, through perseverance and hard work, Lopez finally graduated and will now be able to help his father provide for their family.

If there's a lesson he had learned from his rollercoaster life in college, it is to always pay your debts in time.
