"Grabe fam, sumakay ako papuntang Legarda... sa Busan na ako nakababa."
A 20-year-old Thomasian named Niña Yturralde outdid everyone recently when she did her own version of the 'Saan Ka Dadalhin Ng Vacant Mo' fad.
On her Facebook last night, she claims that an LRT she rode in Legarda station ended up in Busan.
Obviously, Niña faked it. She and her family were on a family vacation in South Korea. She brought her school uniform so she could wear it and act lost for the pictures.
Yet, the result was a hilarious take on the 'Saan Ka Dadalhin Ng Vacant Mo' fad. The post gained positive reception, reaching up to 15,000 reactions and almost 5,000 shares!
Niña Yturralde is studying for a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in the University of Santo Tomas. She is also a proud Iloilo native. She said that the posts were only for fun.
The Daily Pedia got a statement from Niña on how she came up with the concept:
“Actually I got the idea from a friend when she told me she’d [bring] her uniform to [sic] her vacation, so I thought why not coconut*laughs*. Then my sister-in-law suggested I [should] look confused in all [of] my photos. *laughs*”
Here is a series of photos from her Korean 'Saan Ka Dadalhin Ng Vacant Mo' adventure:

Niña poses all confused at the Korean Train Express in Busan. Looking like she's trying to figure out if LRT was renovated recently.

This is where Niña should have realized that she is nowhere near the LRT in Metro Manila. Those seats!

But Niña shouldn't be too bothered because her class won't start for another 5 hours.

Finally, to end all doubts about the legitimacy of the photos, Niña poses with her family to confirm that they are in fact traveling!
How about you? Saan ka dadalhin ng vacant mo? Will it be hard for you to beat Niña's idea or do you already have something in mind?
