Nowadays, it’s difficult to find a trustworthy person to assist you at home. Many people hire house helps from the friends or relatives whom they have proven to be trustworthy.
Those who are unfortunate enough end up hiring an unknown person due to the desperate need to find someone to assist them.
Some people, on the other hand opt to ask a recruitment agency for any available maids they could hire. Recruitment agencies provide the background of the person who they are planning to hire which is why some individuals prefer this method.
One case however where a house maid allegedly stole from her employer despite being hired through a recruitment agency.
According to Facebook user and grandson of the victim Austinn Macabagdal Aliscad, the househelp named Maricel Madera stole from his grandmother despite being hired from a trusted agency.
He posted several photos of the suspect in his account saying:
“Babala po! Ito po si Maricel Madera, ang kasambahay ng aming lola na nanamantala at nagnakaw ng pera. Akala po namin ay makakaligtas kami sa mga ganitong tao sa pagkuha ng kasambahay sa agency. Hindi po pala. Pakiusap, ishare po ninyo sana ito para matulunga kaming matunton at mabawi ang kanyang mga nanakaw. Please share! Salamat!”
