The fear of otherwordly and uncanny creatures has always been a constant in the human psych. The folk tales and legends speaking of terrifying monsters that govern the supernatural world and seek to feed on human flesh or consume our souls, all which has been told across centuries throughout many cultures.
But what humanity feared most in the past, aside from all those mythical monsters, was the fear of the Undead.
Zombies, vampires, ghouls, anything that could come out of a grave fresh from the Grim Reaper's grasp and walk again was topic for intense nightmare fueled nights, at least for the people back in the Middle ages.
The dark ages were an era full of paranoid and supersticious people who would dig up corpses to mutilate and burn to avoid any sort of "revival".
Recently several broken bones were found in the soils of an abandoned old British village. The bones have clear signs of an ancient "zombie hunt"!
