College was never a race and that is what this graduating student has to say to everyone.
Not more than a day after sharing his graduation message after his long journey in college, Noah Rodrigo's post went viral.
Rodrigo, just like any other typical happy-go-lucky college, spent most of his years living in the moment. He confessed to prioritizing fun nights, raves, and women before his studies.
However, his message is more than just about getting through college.
Rodrigo wrote: "Kahit na Walwal bago Aral. Lakads before Acads. Si Beh bago Studeh. Raves before Grades. Bumabagsak pero di sumusuko."
Rodrigo emphasizes how important it is to keep trying for the sake of one's dreams.
"6 years sa college. 6 F***KING YEARS!! Pero kahit ganun proud ako sa sarili ko kasi natapos ko. Di naman pabilisan to eh. Nasa sayo lang to kung pano mo gusto tupadin ang pangarap mo." Rodrigo wrote.
Although he was still able to graduate, Rodrigo pointed out that his message is not about taking college lightly. What Rodrigo wanted to prove was that giving up was never an option.
"Wag niyo ako tularan kasi nagloko ako. Pero tularan niyo ako kasi di ako nag give up kahit paulit ulit bumabagsak. Wala naman taong bobo, tamad lang at tsaka tamad gumising," he confessed.
"Pero di pa ako natatapos dito sa pangarap ko. Nagsisimula pa lang ako... Sa family ko sobrang thankful ako sa walang sawang pag intindi at pagunawa sa sobrang kagaguhan ko. Eto na po mababawasan na sakit ng ulo niyo. Sobrang blessed ko kasi kayo ang family ko. Love ko kayo lahat. Makakabawi na po ako sa inyo. It's Payback time."
