Despite many claiming that the world has gone mad and people are more crooked than ever, hearing news of people's good deeds make us think otherwise. People with good hearts have risen to prove that not everyone takes advantage of others.
A certain Roberto Elliot was featured on Raffy Tulfo's show after returning a lost iPhone SE. Unfortunately, it seems as if not everyone can appreciate such kindness.
In a recent broadcast shared by the Facebook page Raffy Tulfo in Action, Elliot returned a lost phone but, to everyone's utter shock, the owner’s response was just plain sickening.
"Salamat po kay mr. Roberto pero sana pinaaga-aga," owner Luigi Lim. "Marami ng naapektuhan sa nangyari."
Although Lim did acknowledge Elliot's good deed, the man emphasized everything he lost and missed due to the incident.
"Lahat po kasi ng transaction ko nandito, hindi ko matransfer-transfer, walang nangyari sa bakasyon ko."
"Inactivate ko na 'to lost iPhone, so dalawang beses ko na nakita na ini-on" he added.
Reportedly, the phone was lost on a Friday night and was found by Elliot on Saturday morning.
However, Elliot clarified that he was only able to return the phone on Tuesday due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances.
"So hindi po kayo happy sa nangyari," Tulfo asked.
"In a way kasi po nakadeactivate na po ito eh, itinawag ko na po ito sa Singapore."
"Mawalang galang na Mr.Lim, this is the first time na imbis na magpasalamat kayo po ay nagagalit pa, ano po ba ang gusto niyo palabasin?" Tulfo added, visibly enraged by the man's ungrateful response.
"Pag may nawalan, sana maisoli kasi madali naman malaman kasi may number naman po... pipindutin mo lang po," Lim continued to argue.
Lim received an earful due to his arrogance, "Sandali mr. Lim, may pinagaralan ka, siya wala," Tulfo said.
"Ang hirap sayo imbis na matuwa ka pa, pinipikon mo pa ako eh, itong tao he's being honest, he's being kind, nagabala pa siyang pumunta dito, wala siyang alam sa pindot-pindot sa mga cellphone na yan, papagalitan mo pa siya," Tulfo exclaimed, unable to hold himself back.
"Bastos ka naman," he snapped.
"Ano ngayon kung Singapore yan?" he added after Lim emphasized that the phone came from Singapore. "You're out of line."
"Kasalanan mo yan kasi burara ka!"
