A 23-year-old Filipina maid working Saudi Arabia named Fatima was gruesomely attacked by her employer's mother.
According to reports, her employer constantly beat her whenever she cries due to homesickness.
Fatima was transferred to her employer's mother's house because the employer's wife no longer wanted her in their house.
The mother spilled boiling water onto Fatima's back - allegedly for making coffee too slowly. Six hours passed before she was taken into a hospital.
When she saw opportunity, Fatima gave a note containing her family's contacts to a nurse to call for help. The concerned nurse documented the horrible abuse that Fatima had undergone by taking photos of it on her cellphone.
