An old man in China has been earning praises among netizens after giving up everything for his son.

Qin Yu, 70-years-old, hails from China. With one look, anyone could tell that he is homeless. He is covered with mud, and his clothes are all torn. One can easily tell that he had been wandering a lot from the looks of his shoes. He also looked ill. But the story behind his journey will definitely melt your heart.

Qin Yu was once happily married and was working hard to give his wife a good life. They tried to have a baby a couple of times but due to his wife's health, they were never successful. They decided to adopt an orphan boy. They named him Li Kun.

Ever since he was a young child, Li Kun already had a bad temper. He also had a hard time communicating with his friends. When he was 14-year-old, he had an argument with his classmate and got beaten up. This made him very angry. So he planned his revenge. The next day, he brought a knife at school and mercilessly stabbed his classmate!

The victim was rushed into the hospital while Kun left home. His parents eventually learned what happened and offered the victim's family money to compensate for the trouble. Luckily, the victim survived and accepted the money.

However, Yu had to sell their house for the money. They tried to look for Kunl while trying to find shelter for his wife. They became poor and homeless. The lwife then got ill, and eventually died.

Yu was left by himself and decided that lhe had to find Kun. So he gathered what was left of his goods and traveled around finding his only son. He wandered for a total of 9 years, only to find out that his son had become a criminal. Kun admitted to his father that he murdered people and he was a thief. 

Yu was heart broken and decided to do the right thing. He turned in his own son to the authorities and Kun was put in jail.

Despite his good intentions, Yu was shut out by Kun. He told him that he didn't want to see his father again. Yu tried to tell his story to the journalist in the hopes of seeing his son again. But Kun still refused.

Yu, in his age, hopes that Kun would forgive him someday.
