Having and raising a baby requires a tremendous amount of patience. No matter how naughty the baby is, it is the parents' job to maintain their cool as children don't always know what they're doing.

A baby needs care and understanding because their behavior is still uncontrollable. It's not their fault that simple things can make them cry or whine.

Recently, a distressing video of a Chinese mother kicking her baby went viral. The video was reportedly taken in the Guangdong province in South Eastern China. The woman, identified as Chen, was filmed kicking her.

Netizens were outraged by the video and they condemned Chen for being a horrible and irresponsible parent. They were also worried that she might have some mental issues.

Chen apologized for her behavior. She reasoned that she was only having a hard time controlling her emotions and she regrets what she did.

Luckily, the baby did not suffer any serious injuries from the kick. She is now under her grandparents' care.

The authorities gave Chen a verbal warning after the incident.
