Facebook user Jann DG shared the experience her mom had at the Budgetlane in San Mateo, Rizal.
On the day of February 20, 2017, Jann's mother and niece went to Ampid, San Mateo to withdraw money from a bank.
Since their car was unavailable at that time, they decided to commute their way.
It was only after they got home did the mother noticed that her purse is missing. The purse contains money, phones with business cards, and all her identification cards.
They went back to Budgetlane where they earlier took a tricycle ride. Jann was worried that the person who found the purse will not return it anymore knowing how people think nowadays.
Luckily, someone picked up the phone inside the purse. It was later identified that he's RANNIE A. NUNAG, the driver of the tricycle with the body number B2-568.
"Ma'am, sa inyo po ba 'yung bag? Saan ko po ibabalik 'to? Sa pinaghatiran ko po kanina?" said Rannie on the phone.
They agreed to meet at the Budgetlane terminal. Jann found Rannie holding the purse with everything inside left untouched.
"Ma'am, buti hindi po kinuha no'ng dalawang nakasakay kanina. Inaabot ko po kasi akala ko sa kanila."
Jann's family were grateful for the tricycle driver because if it weren't for him, all the mother's belongings would be gone.
Their story is now viral in social media as it garnered 17,154 shares and almost 60 thousand reactions on Facebook.
