[Trending Now] Sam Mangubat Is The First To Make The Tawag Ng Tanghalan Judges Do This Because of His Perfomance

Sam Mangubat showed that he has more to give to viewers and judges of 'Showtime's Tawag ng Tanghalan'.

On his spectacular performance on February 24, Friday on the competition's Round 5 Semi-finals, the Batangas native singer performed a cover of 'Remember Me' by Renz Verano.

Sam was able to turn Verano's song into an elegant piece, according to host Vice Ganda. He received a full standing ovation from the judges and the studio audiences.

"Sinong magsasabi na yung Remember ni Renz Verano na masang-masa, sumosyal?" exclaims Vice.

Sam is among the top favorites of the online community. His video has reached 150,000 views on Youtube and 82,000 reactions on social media.

Fans of the singer continue to show full support hoping he would make it to the finals.

"Either Sam or Jex for the win bukas????Good bless Jex-Sam??You two did a very good in every performance??Good luck tomorrow, sana makapasok kayo sa grand finals????i think have a tie again. #JexAndSam," said Maryrose Mosquera Castro Ramos.

"Thats song was one of my favorite. Makaluma na yung kanta tsaka hindi masyadong ginagamit sa mga contest mapa local man or TV. Pero nung kinanta to ni Sam Mangubat parang ngkaroon ng bagong version at bagong bihis yung kanta. Lakas ng appeal ng song nung si Sam Kumanta eh. Baka kunin tong song nato ng star records. Hehe," commented Valiente Silvano.
