It's the perfect reason to stop and evaluate the relationship.
Also, let's be honest. It's also an excuse to throw a little party for two. Or maybe more for those who claim to be in polygamous relationships. The bottom line is that it's the best excuse to celebrate not being single for a long time.
But given that we all live in a fast-paced world now, where things expire way too soon, it comes as no surprise that some couples prefer not to wait a year to celebrate their time together. The monthsary has been a thing for the hopeless romantics for a while now. It may not make sense to some, but that doesn't stop others from celebrating them.
Take one Facebook famous guy for example, who recently celebrated his first month with his boyfriend.
Leo Alfonso, a Facebook user who has accumulated about 21,000 followers on the popular social networking site, recently posted some photos and a video documenting his first "monthsary" celebration with his partner.
According to Alfonso's post, his boyfriend surprised him on the day of their first "monthsary" with gifts. A lot of them.
He seemed so happy about the surprise that he couldn't help but share on social media.
