It looks like Barbie Forteza really is all grown up now.
The young actress from the Kapuso network flaunted her (early) summer body for an upcoming episode of the hit show, 'Meant to be'.
The photos were shot on location at Laiya, Batangas on Monday, February 20,2017.
The photos came as a surprise for fans and celebrities alike. For those who didn't know, the release of the photos mark Barbie's first time to appear on television in a swimsuit.
According to Barbie, she had to go on a diet for the scenes that required her to wear a two-piece swimsuit.
"Once na nabasa ko ang script na may ganitong eksena, nag-cut agad ako ng carbs. Wala agad carbs, maliit na chicken for protein lang at egg whites, tapos saging na saba," said the young actress in an interview with 24 Oras earlier this week.

Following the release of the photos, some of Barbie's fellow celebrities showed their support for the young actress on social media.
Jerald Napoles included the following caption on his Instagram repost:

Other celebrities also expressed their admiration for Barbie's photos.
Matet de Leon said "Hanep", Bea Binene replied with "Ay grabe naman tooo!", and Joyce Ching said "Teka lang, iba to!! I'm so proud!!", in a tweet about the photos.
It looks like Barbie's hard work and discipline paid off.
