[Trending Now] Indian Business Tycoon Celebrates His Daughter's Wedding Through Building 90 Apartments For The Homeless

Maybe we had all been used to stories about rich and powerful men spending lavish amounts for their own pleasures during both ordinary days and special occasions.

However, a certain rich Indian business tycoon broke the stereotype after building 90 homes for the homeless for his daughter's wedding celebration.

Ajay Munot of Aurangabad, Maharashtra is a powerful business magnate known for being a top contender in the industry of cloth and wheat. 

Spending an approximate amount of $11 million for her daughter's wedding, Munot decided to give to the less fortunate as well by building builds 90 homes for the homeless in a 2-acre land which cost him up to $2.2 million. Reports say that this is about 25 percent of the man's savings.

The daughter of Munot, as well as his groom, were happy with the man's decision.

The bride even shared how happy she was in seeing the joy in the faces of the people who experienced her father's generosity,

"I am very happy with the decision and will consider it as my marriage gift," says Munot's daughter Sheyra.

Those who experience extreme poverty and are homeless were the most fortunate ones, as they received a 12-by-20 feet home complete with electricity and clean water.

Although he initially intended to build 108 homes, only 90 were finished in time for the wedding.

According to the rich magnate, helping the poor is the responsibility of the rich. 

"This is the new chapter in history and I hope that the same concept will be followed by the other rich communities."

"We have some responsibilities towards our society and we tried to comply with it," he said.
