A video of a girl riding an escalator while texting at SM Bacolod went viral with 2.2M views within 24 hours. She seems to be more focused with her texting than actually minding her escalator ride. The girl rode the wrong escalator, opposite her intended direction! Too focused on her phone, she spent so much effort walking up the escalator that seemed to be a never-ending journey for her. When she realized her error, she could not help but laugh at herself.

The viral video made its noise in the internet with 16k likes on Facebook and almost 38k shares. Meanwhile, the comment section of the video post by Kimberly Joy Mallo Magbanua was flooded with numerous comments and emojis of laughter.
