[Trending Now] This Man Tried Committing Suicide By Stripping Naked And Jumping Into Lions' Cage. WATCH!

Lions again suffered for the misdeeds of humans as this man stripped naked and jumped to the cage full of hungry lions in a zoo. 20-year-old Franco Luis Ferrada Roman made headlines when he reportedly broke into the cage and provoked the lions to eat him. The lions, according to the witnesses, began to play with him and not after long, savagely mauled Ferrada. 

Alejandra Montalva, the zoo director shared: "We believe that this person entered as a visitor and paid for his ticket. Later he trespassed into an area where the public are not normally allowed and we understand that he forced the roof of the lion’s enclosure. It was from there that he jumped, took off his clothes and started to attract the lions."

One of the witnesses, Cynthis Vasquez said that he even made some religious proclamations while the animals are devouring him. "He entered the enclosure from above and the lions started to play with him, and then after they attacked him and was shouting things about Jesus.” Vasquez said. 

“There were a lot of children there, and parents covered their eyes while it was going on. He was screaming religious things.” another witness shared. 

The zookepers were forced to shot the two African lions to death just to save the man from dying. There were no fast-acting tranquilizers readily available to stop the lions, hence the decision. 

"The zoo has an established protocol because people’s lives are very important to us,’said Montalba.

Meanwhile, Ferrada was taken to the nearest hospital and is now recovering.  "Mr Ferrada Roman’s heart almost stopped. He suffered several injuries and trauma to the head and the pelvic area. We have high hopes that will recover and that will be fine." Dr. Sebastian Ugarde of Indisa Clinic stated. 

They also noted that there was a suicide note on Ferrada's clothes.
