[Trending Now] Oops, AWKWARD! Gelli De Belen And John Estrada's Interview. WATCH HERE!

Following the launch of "Magpahanggang Wakas" serye in the ABS-CBN's primetime replacing the recently concluded Born For You, viewers can't help but ask how John Estrada can work with Gelli De Belen, sister of Estrada's former wife, Janice De Belen. With this, Tonight with Boy Abunda took the opportunity to have an interview with the serye stars.

Boy Abunda, the show's host cannot help to notice the palpable tension inside the studio. When asked about if there has been any issue when they were offered the roles, Gelli answered:

"It was a consideration. I wanted to know what the role was and kung anong koneksyon ko kay John. Tinanong ko kung asawa ni John o ex-wife? Doon na ako sa ex-wife! Mahirap na mag-sweet-sweet kami. Hello? Parang ex-magkapatid kami or whatever you want to call it."

She also noted how Janice De Belen and Ariel Rivera had also worked in the serye Ina, Kapatid, Anak and how awkward was it at first but worked out eventually. Ariel Rivera is Gelli's husband.

But Estrada dismissed the question with the answer: "Hindi naman siya iyong naging asawa ko kaya okay lang sa akin,"

When asked about if Gelli had ill feelings against Estrada when he broke up with sister Janice, Estrada quickly answered: "Pakitago na iyong tanong na iyan please," he said in a playful tone. "Baka magbalik-alaala ito."

They then discussed the flow of the serye in which Gelli, starring as Jenna, became the ex-wife of Estrada's role after Estrada caught him being with another man.

"I don't want to catch my wife in a room with another man," Estrada said on his role's justification. "Kahit na ano pang explanation mo. You have no right to be here with that guy!"
