Toni Gonzaga-Soriano has finally given birth! It was April when she first announced that she was pregnant after tying the knot with Paul Soriano, her boyfriend of 8 years. She gave birth to baby Severiano Elliot at exactly 5:23 am at September 30, 2016 after 38 hours of labor. The baby weighs 7.2 lbs which might be the reason why Toni had hard time pushing. 

In an interview, his very supportive husband shared how Toni persevered and endured laboring. He said: "Toni wanted a normal delivery and she fought for it. She fought for it. I mean 38 hours of labor and about almost three hours of pushing,"

"There was even times there she was kind of passing out na. When she’s fully dilated already, the head was coming out. The last few pushes was really tougher."he added.

When asked about the story behind the name of their baby, he shared: ""Toni trusted me with that. I chose the name Severiano because my favorite golfer is Severiano Ballesteros, a Spanish golfer. And then Elliot is from 'E.T.', from the lead character in 'E.T.' My favorite movie. The reason why I like films,"

Meanwhile, Soriano also shared that the baby has been breastfed by Toni 3x already but both of them are still recovering after the long labor.
