Kris Aquino finally spoken and confirm that she will be leaving the Kapamilya network after months of speculations.
She posted three status on her Instagram account on the Monday morning which reveals her true reason why she is leaving ABS CBN.
She began her post saying, “We were set to renew our contract February 2016, it was a generous, less demanding agreement."
“But at that time there was a threat to my life we needed to take seriously, I had to regain my health, and I needed time for my family & me,” Kris said to reason out why she refused to sign the offer of the network.
Way back March, Kris stayed for four months with her sons Bimby and Josh at Hawaii due to her health concerns.
Kris said that the agreement was for her to talk with the management.
“That is the risk of taking time for yourself- when you come back there's no guarantee that a space will be held for you. We spoke in July but there was no definite show & no assured time frame of my return on air,” she added.
It may be recalled that KrisTV was take over by the morning talk show Magandang Buhay hosted by Melai Cantiveros, Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal was launched in April.
“I perfectly understood- as much as I wanted to believe I was a pillar of the network, everybody is dispensable,” Kris said. “And I say that with no bitterness- just HONESTY.”
Kris continued saying, “So to all of you saying please don't leave- it wasn't a choice that was just mine to make. I take my share of the responsibility. And I say that w/ so much gratitude in my heart.”
Kris also confirmed the rumors that she will be working with APT entertainment's Tony tuviera who's handling Maine Mendoza. She said that it was her Manager, Boy Abunda who reached out Tuviera for business.
Kris posted on her IG about her new show which the taping will start on September 22.
“So here's a shout out of THANK YOU to the Kapamilya Network ABS-CBN for all that was, and here's a shoutout of THANK YOU to my new APT family for all that will be. And most of all my THANK YOU to all of you for allowing me to just be me,” she ended.
