[Trending Now] JUST IN: Saudi Arabian Jet Under Threat Landed at NAIA

Saudia Airlines commercial flight SVA 872 from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia has landed around 3:00pm at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) runway was placed in the isolation area with police anti-hijacking for threats received 20 miles before landing.

The airplain was placed in the secluded area of runway 06. Authorities currently implement standard operating procedures "in accordance with the emergency plan for plan 4."

Initial reports showed that the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Emergency Services Department received an advisory from the Manila control tower that the flight was under threat for hijacking, 20 miles before the jet landed at the airport.

Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group in partnership with MIAA are already at the site, with aircraft on standby.

Saudia Airline Executives are also at the isolation site to confirm the reported threat.
