[Trending Now] Validity Of Driver's License Increased to 5 Years In NCR Starting October. Great News!

The Department of Transportation released amazing news for driver's in the National Capital Region. The department announced on Tuesday the extension of the validity of license will become up to 5 years starting October compared to the previous 3 years validity.

Senator Ralph Recto filed a bill last month in regards to the extension of validity of the driver's license in order to debar the excessive and redundant regulation in the processing of official government documents.

During the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte, he promised to abridge the long processing of the issuance of licenses and business permits.

"In my city, it is always three days for local governments, that will bind the Office of the President down to barangay level," he said during the SONA.
