They say that the amount we give during our time of abundance is not the measure of our heart but rather our willingness to give amidst our time of desperation and need. 

This homeless man proves how big of a heart he has as he generously give a Brazilian student despite of the obvious difference in terms of financial settlement.

Carolina Santana, the brazilian college student came from Sao Paolo, Brazil. The encounter with the amazingly generous homeless man happened during her walk to the bus station, when the man asked for spare change, she looked for a few changes in her bag however to her utter shock, her purse and bag pass was no where to be found.

The disheartening incident led Caroline to politely deny the man, although she promised him to give him the next time. She also told him that she'll end up walking on the way home due to what happened.

To her surprise, he told her with no hesitation: "Do you know how much is the ticket? Because I have $4 and I'll be happy to give it to you."

Despite her amazement she was able to decline the offer and fortunately she soon found her missing bus pass. The incident strucked Caroline, she never expected that a man who was so close to having nothing could be that generous. To show her gratitude, she posted a photo with the man named Cesar and shared the amazing story for the whole world to read!
