[Trending Now] "Natatakot po ako" 12-Year-Old Student Traumatized After He Was Forced By His Teacher To Kneel Under The Sun As A Punishment

This video of 12-year-old named Ben have gotten viral in Social Media after his teacher punished him and made him kneel in an open field in direct sunlight after being not able to clean their classroom. The video as posted by a certain River Cruz on Facebook. 

According to the other students, Ben stayed under the direct sunlight for over 3 minutes with softdrink's 'tanzan' in his arms that he had to keep intact. The punishment was stopped by the head teacher who also reprimanded the Ben's teacher.

After the incident, the student was traumatized of the harsh punishment of the teacher. According to the student, he is now ashamed to talk to his classmates, afraid that they might bully him. Although, the teacher has already apologized for the incident and the school promising never to have the same scenario again, the parents are still pursuing to kick out the teacher out of the school. 

Meanwhile, DepEd-Bicol promises to investigate on the incident. Newly hired teachers of the school will undergo Child Protection Policy Training to avoid such abuse to students.
