[Trending Now] Duterte Joins Aerial Inspection Of Habagat Affected Areas. Must Watch!

The heavy rains caused by the Southwest Monsoon continued its down pour all over Metro Manila and nearby provinces over the weekend. 

National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) led by Executive Director Ricardo Jalad conducted an aerial inspection in order to oversee the affected  areas and the extent of the damages on Metro Manila and nearby provinces. They also checked the status of the rivers in Marikina and Pasig as well as the La Mesa Dam.

Unexpectedly, President Rodrigo Duterte and Judy Taguiwalo, Social Welfare and Development secretary joined in the inspection on August 15 (Monday) after Jalad briefed the President about the situation.

Duterte gave a directive to Jalad in regards to the safety of the people in unsafe areas and Taguiwalo in regards the status and prioritization of the people on evacuation areas and their relief goods.
