A video footage of a 5 year old boy that gets ran over by a car is now circulating online. On the video, the young boy was running while crossing the street.
The driver was seen on the video panicking as he hastily took a run for it. Fortunately, the boy survived according to reports.
The video however was flooded with comments defending the driver and claiming that he was not at fault. It was noticeable in the video that the car wasn't that fast. Furthermore, netizens blamed the lack of guidance by the parents of the young boy and the parked vehicles that provides a "blind spot" for drivers.
This incident is a reminder for drivers to be cautious of pedestrians coming out of nowhere or most likely in between parked cars along the sideroad and for pedestrians to always look both sides before crossing to avoid such accidents that troubles both parties.
