[Hot News] Female Boxer Jujeath Nagaowa Charged 6,000 php by Bureau of Customs to Claim Own Championship Belt!!!

The Bureau of Customs has been receiving flak for the past days due to claims of unfair taxation to a lot of Filipino citizen's items. In a recent post, Jujeath Nagaowa revealed that in exchange for bringing pride to the Philippines, she was rewarded with a computation of the Customs Duty, BIR stamp, and Value Added Tax (VAT) in the total amount of P5,819 (around $125).

In a viral Facebook post, the current Womens International Boxing Association (WIBA) World Light Flyweight champion complained when she was taxed for her own hard-earned championship belt. She had expressed dismay over this issue but she says that she is thankful for friends and supporters who helped her claim the belt.
