A Japanese Businessman tried to build an amusement park that would have rivaled Disneyland. It was intended to be a Medieval- themed park with rides but what made the idea of it unique was it would have also had condominiums inside. However, the construction stopped when he faced financial problems.

Located at Barangay Mayasang in Lemery Batangas, the supposed-to-be amusement park just ended up being a tourist attraction for its Medieval Castle situated at the top of the hill. It is now called Fantasy World. If you are to look at its façade, you would think that a royal family used to live on this castle.

The attraction has tree houses in it. Once you’re in the tower, you will have an awesome view of Tagaytay. There are also unfinished constructions of rides like metal towers for Ferris Wheel and roller coaster. A water fountain also made the ambiance more royal. The tree house also showed the whole amusement park. A hanging bridge connects the tree house to another one.

Right now, the entire complex is merely operated and maintained by the home owners’ association. You can visit the park for photoshoots or even have a picnics inside.

Surely, it would have been the most unique theme park in the Philippines if only the construction was finished. This is definitely a must-see attraction in Tagaytay. The entrance fee is P1000 for a group of 10 people. You will also see a magnificent view of Taal Lake from there, so the cost will be worth it. You can bring your family here and act like a royal family for a day!  Bring costumes to make it more real!
