[Trending Now] Ever Wondered Why Danilo Barrios Left Showbiz? This Is His Life Now Behind The Camera!

One of the most famous matinee idols of the 90’s is none other than Danilo Barrios Jr. His angelic face and innocent presence is just too much to handle for girls who are fond of him. Danilo’s talent and charm gained him prominence in the entertainment industry during the peak of his career.

Danilo was given his major break when he joined the original dancing group of ‘Streetboys’, alongside Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario. He was just 17 years old back then. When he appeared as a dancer and member of this famous group, he became one of the most promising young performers of his generation.

Danilo proved that he is indeed a multi-talented artist as he appeared in several movies and TV shows after his stint with the Streetboys. He was able to garner more fame when he became a part of the Filipino youth-oriented series, G-MIK in 1999 where he was partnered with Camille Prats. Their on-screen love tandem became a major success. 

After this hit series, he then started to appear in different movies such as “Spirit Warriors” with other Streetboys members, Yamashita: The Tigers Treasures, Magnifico, Dekada ’70, Lastikman and much more. He also appeared on different TV shows such as “Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggang”, “Darating Ang Umaga”, “Imortal” at “Ikaw Ang Pag-ibig”. With a lot of projects on his hands, Danilo was undeniably having a fruitful career.

However, at some point in 2011, he decided to go on a showbiz hiatus. He stopped appearing on the TV screens and stopped doing projects. His decision of leaving showbiz was greatly influenced by his desire to become a full-time family man.

He left showbiz so he could focus on his family and business. He was married to his non-showbiz girlfriend and had three children with her. they are currently living a peaceful life away from the limelight. 

Moreover, Danilo was also able to manifest his skills and abilities in business. He is now the president of a pharmaceutical company called Tatiomax Pharma Corporation. Having a successful business and entrepreneur life is an enough reason for him not to accept projects from the showbiz industry.
