Former sexy star and actress Karla Estrada and Filipino comedian Vice Ganda reminisces their 20 years of friendship by recreating a throwback photo.
Karla Estrada is known for her roles in “Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita?”, “Maricris Sioson: Japayuki.”, and more recently, “Funny Ka, Pare Ko”. She is currently one of the main hosts in “Magandang Buhay” with Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros. Her eldest son is the Philippine showbiz’s “Teen King” Daniel Padilla. Daniel is among the most prominent Filipino celebrities today.
Vice Ganda is best known for his stand-up routines that use sarcasm, situational irony, and observational comedy. His common topics pertain to Filipino culture and human sexuality. He stars in six films that are considered to be the highest-grossing films in the history of Philippine cinema.
Karla and Vice worked together on ABS-CBN’s noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” where Vice Ganda is one of the mainstay hosts. Karla was one of the judges for Tawag ng Tanghalan.
On Magandang Buhay, where Karla is one of the hosts, Vice and Karla recalls how they first met each other and became friends.

“Matagal na! Sa comedy bar days ko palang kasi nagpupunta sila lagi.” Vice Ganda narrates his first encounters with Karla Estrada. “Kahit tapos na yung operation dahil hanggang alas-3 lang naman kami, 'di pa umuuwi sila lahat!”
Vice Ganda recounts how the Estrada would give them money to stay up with them. “Bigay ng bigay sila ng pera sa amin. Mahal nya yung mga bakla. Bibigyan nya talaga lagi yung mga bakla.”
Estrada later adds that they became closer through a common friend. “Meron kaming common friend na yun talaga yung friend nila—sina Me-Ann. Si Me-Ann nung naging kaibigan ko walang ginawa sakin kung hindi bitbitin ako dun (sa comedy bar). Pero nagulat s'ya na kaibigan ko na to (si Vice).”
Estrada also said that she would not forget about him because her youngest daughter Carmela would often watch Vice Ganda on her laptop in “Gandang Gabi Vice”, a nightly comedy talk show on ABS-CBN hosted by Vice Ganda.
