In this modern world of mobile phones with cameras plus social media, many people are becoming selfie addicts. These people have countless ideas on how to will make their selfies unique and reaction-worthy. On the case of Nednapha Nuankhul, she never expected that being a selfie addict will lead to a tragic incident.

Nednapha is a wife living in Thailand. She was burned alive by her husband due to jealousy after posting three selfies in social media. 

“I thought I was in hell,” the 26-year-old lady said. She said she can still remember how she felt the melting of her face. She initially took three operations and still need to take more in the next months.

“It has scarred me on the outside and in my heart, too. But I have to forgive my husband because we have a child together,” she said,”When the fire was burning I felt like I knew that hell was real. It was the worst pain and terror anybody could ever imagine. I’m like this now forever and I know that hell exists.”

Chatchawaran, Nednapha’s spouse, was already abusing her since their marriage on January 2016. Despite being abused, this mother of one still forgave her husband for the sake of their child.

According to the police, the issue was conjugal and the investigation is still ongoing. Her husband is still in the authorities’ custody. 

“Now my husband cannot run away from anything. He has been put in prison and he has a son that needs care and a father,” the victim stated.
