The Japanese are popular for their very busy lifestyle and hectic schedules. Once they start working, they are very dedicated to the tasks assigned to them.

No wonder why their country has such a rich economy. In fact, they rank third in the entire world when it comes to their nominal GDP (gross domestic product) which is what indicates the over-all health of country’s economy.

In order to prove how industrious they really are, a Pinoy who is currently staying in Japan shared a video showing just how fast and hard-working these folks can be.

Facebook user Troy Serrano posted a video yesterday of a sidewalk which is under construction. He captured the footage through the window of the place he was staying in. Judging by its condition, the sidewalk appears like it would be totally repaired within a few days or even weeks.

Now, we Filipinos are used to seeing road constructions so often that we know how long it would take for workers to repair it judging by the way it looks. For example, a road with a pothole can be fixed within one to two weeks tops while more severe damages, such as changing the piping system, can take months to repair.

However, the Japanese prove that they would only need a few hours to fix a certain part of the road.

In the video, the road-side workers are shown with their heavy equipment, trying to fill the hole on the sidewalk. After a few hours, we can already see the fixed sidewalk with citizens already passing by safely.

Serrano was so amazed by this that he even compared it to how fast Filipinos can repair roads.
