[Trending Now] This San Beda Student Singing 'Through The Fire' Will Leave You Utterly Speechless

Watch out people! Another online singing sensation is born!

The girl in the video, Cess Culala, a student from San Beda College, made her own rendition of Chaka Khan's "Through The Fire" and got the attention of almost 300 thousand netizens.

The video was originally posted by her friend Jerahniel Doroja back in 2015 and got picked up by Facebook page "Hanep Sa Talent" last March 31. 

Unlike other 'birit'-queen-wannabes, Cess did not only hit all the high notes, she also put her own style in it with her distinctly solid voice and flawless control. The result: a soothing yet equally spine-chilling performance worthy of the attention it's getting. 

But it looks like the young songstress truly has a knack for making headlines with her beautiful singing voice.

Five years ago, then 18-year-old Cess joined the now defunct TV5 game show, 'Will Time Big Time' and wowed the audience when she sang "Run To You" by Whitney Houston. Host Willie Revillame was so impressed with her performance that he gave her 15,000 pesos on the spot!

She also became a contender in It's Showtime's "Tawag ng Tanghalan" back in June 2016 but failed to take the throne from the defending champion.

Unfortunately, her fame was short-lived as she didn't land a career-defining break.

Now that she has resurfaced online with yet another jaw-dropping performance, her chance of making it as a professional singer is again within her grasp.

Hopefully, she gets it this time.
