Medical staff should really know how draining staying inside an Emergency Room of a hospital can be. With all the pressures present, these doctors and nurses have to stay focused in order for them to be successful in their work. However, there are patients who can't seem to comprehend that ER’s are meant for life-and-death scenarios and not for every runny nose and fever.

A German nurse named Kay Muller shared an honest picture of what a real Emergency Room looks like. This was after he encountered a patient who kept on complaining about waiting in line for hours just to get some medical attention. What prompted Kay to do this is the fact that the complaining patient’s condition should be attended by their family doctor and not by the people in an emergency room. The patient is not even seriously ill.

“Once again, I had a patient complaining about having to wait two hours in the emergency room. I'm quite convinced he can wait a few hours with his runny nose and fever.”

“I'd like to show him this picture. This, my friends, is what a real emergency looks like. You should have gone to your family doctor or health care center for your nose, not visited the emergency room. I'm sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but I think it's scary that people take everything for granted all the time.”

Kay’s Facebook post hit social media with 24,000 Facebook reactions and almost 16,000 shares as of this writing. Many netizens agreed, saying patients who are not seriously-ill should visit their family doctor and not the nurses and experts trying to save a life at the emergency room. Moreover, they also encouraged others to appreciate the effort and hard work of these medical staff who are doing more than what is expected from them.
