[Trending Now] This Guy Was So Uncomfortable When A Stranger Grabbed His Hand But When He Realizes The Reason Why, He Did This!

Kindness is rarely given by individuals nowadays. People are often filled with anger or distrust towards others. Still, there are those who choose to show kindness despite living in a world where kindness is hard to give. 

A young man decided to demonstrate his kindness and give his trust to a complete stranger during his bus ride going home. 

Godfrey Cutto, a 21-year-old man, was riding the bus when the man sitting beside him suddenly held his hand. You would expect Godfrey to remove the man’s hand. However, he just decided to play along. He even let the man lay his head on his shoulder during the entire trip. 

Of course, Godfrey felt uncomfortable and even thought at some point that someone was playing a prank on him. But Godfrey noticed that the man seemed a bit different, which is why he let the passenger hold him tightly. 

Eventually, a fellow passenger sensed what was happening and took a photo of the two men. The passenger posted it all over social media until it garnered at least 14,000 shares. 

A relative of the passenger then saw the post going viral on Facebook and decided to thank Godfrey for his simple act of kindness. According to the relative, the man on the bus is named Robert. Robert turns out to have a mental illness and just wanted to feel secure while he was riding the bus. Godfrey was the person nearest to him which is why he chose to hold his hand. 

"I just allowed it, like what am I going to do? Sometimes you just have to be selfless and put someone else’s needs above yours," according to Inspire More’s interview with Godfrey.
