Most people have their own celebrity idol. These stars serve as their inspiration due to their skill and talent. Most hope to be friends with their celebrity idols just to get a whiff of their brilliance. 

Against all odds, one girl was able to get close to the person she looked up to. 

Too close. 

Agatha Faye Joven Buensalida sent her idol Ping Medina a friend request on Facebook. After months of waiting for him to accept her request, one day, he finally did. She really didn’t expect someone as popular as him to notice a common girl like her. 

As a celebrity, Ping probably receives hundreds of friend requests every day which he mostly ignores. 

Aside from the fact that Agatha is already friends with Ping’s siblings, she looks most likely got Ping’s attention. This isn't a wild guess as Ping himself admitted to being attracted to Agatha. 

How do we know this? Agatha revealed that Ping said “Hey babe” as he accepted her friend request.

Ping asked Agatha why she sent her a friend request to which Agatha responded to honestly, saying she idolizes him and they are both interested in films. 

Unfortunately, Ping only wanted to flirt with her.

Due to Agatha’s dismay, she publicized the conversation between her and the celebrity.

Agatha even tagged Ping’s siblings just to teach him a lesson.
