[Trending Now] Mother With Dying Son Expresses Gratitude to This Heroic Grab Driver

Recently, a post went viral on social media regarding a grieving mother who was extending her gratitude to the Grab driver who help her get to the hospital where her dying son was. 

The post was shared by Anica Velarde Espinosa who was very grateful to Grab driver Grape Rufon Fernandez. According to Anica, she was already home when she received a call that the respiratory rate of her son went down to 11. She immediately booked a Grab car and when it arrived, she told the driver that her son, Sean, is dying and she needs to at least be able to be there for his last breath.

When she called the hospital, she was told that if she can be there by around 45 minutes, she might still see him alive. She even asked them to take a video of his last breath in case she doesn't make it.

From Cainta, Rizal to Banawe, Quezon City, they only traveled for 32 minutes as the driver drove really fast and went on “Hazard” to let other vehicles know they are on an emergency rush. 

Anica said that she wanted to give Fernandez P1000 but he refused to take it. Instead, he told her, “Mam, lakasan nyo lang po ang loob nyo at ok na ako.” She hugged him, said thank you and went inside. She went directly to the ICU and was able to make it to the last seconds of her son. 

“Salamat Kuyang Driver. Napakabuti nyo po. Ang tagpo na yun na naabutan ko pa anak ko ay di ko malilimutan kasama na po kayo.

"Sana po kahit wala kayong Facebook account ay makarating po sa inyo ito.. Taos puso akong nagpapasalamat at pagpalaain nawa kayo ng Panginoon... Sana po ay dumami pa po ang tulad ninyo. MARAMING SALAMAT PO!" said Anica on her Facebook post.
