[Trending Now] Matteo Reveals That Sarah Geronimo's Surprise Is the Best Birthday Gift He Has Ever Had! Even Her Mom and Bestfriend Got Involved!

Actor and car-racer Matteo Guidicelli recently celebrated his 27th birthday in Cebu, and guess what surprise gift he got. It is no other than his singer, actress and girlfriend, Sarah Geronimo!

In an interview on Cinema News with Bianca Gonzales, the actor said that he was not expecting for the Popstar Princess to come as she was busy with The Voice Teens after coming back to the show as a judge. 

“She surprised me in Cebu. She said she was so busy with ‘The Voice.’ So I said okay. We understand naman. But she surprised me. I was surprised. My mom and my best friend from Cebu [ang kakuntsaba niya],” Guidicelli said. It was said that Sarah was already on her way in the morning of his birthday.

Matteo mentioned that he really appreciated Sarah’s appearance as it was really hard for the singer-actress to pull off a surprise in the age of social media.

“‘Di ba? With social media and everything. That’s why I was always checking sa Twitter kung may update pero wala,”  the actor said. Sarah also pretended that she was not feeling well wherein he pretended that it’s fine with him, but felt the other way around. 

“I had no clue because I called her in the morning and she said, ‘I’m sick. I cannot go out.’ Sabi ko okay and I was pretending not to be tampo. I was like, ‘Alright no problem.’ But inside, I was bleeding. I’m joking. She was there na pala. She landed already,” he recalled.

Meanwhile, he also mentioned he was very happy with Sarah Geronimo – Daniel Padilla collaboration. 

“I watched it live at home. It broke my heart. No, I’m joking (laughs). Me also, [napa-smile din ako]. I was really happy because believe it or not, it was Sarah’s dream also to work with DJ,” he said.
