While walking, some people started to approach him and asked if they can take photos with him. The internet sensation granted their requests, of course!

Jeyrick Sigmaton is a 21-year old vegetable farmer who became famous in the Internet world after a photo of his was posted online. Netizens found him very charming and handsome. Thanks to his unexpected fame, Jeyrick landed modeling contracts with various companies. His life story was even featured in GMA’s Magpakailanman.

Edwina Bandong took a photo of Jeyrick when they came to visit La Trinidad, Benguet before heading to Sagada, Mountain Province. One of her companions told Edwina to take a photo of him. When Edwina posted it on her Facebook account, the post became viral and even reached over 2,000 shares. 

Many said that he looks like a character in a Korean Telenovela. Some compared him to Hero Angeles. He then became a topic of various articles online and was also featured in GMA’s Kapuso Mo Jessica Sojo. 

We cannot deny how famous the young man has become and it is also great to know he is able to provide his family a better living.
